Dr. Sarala Krishnagiri
Dr. Sarala Krishnagiri is a board-certified internist practicing at Churchland Internal Medicine. She graduated medical school from Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore India. She finished her internship at Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital, Bangalore. She completed her Internal Medicine residency from Hahnemann University Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Before joining Churchland Internal Medicine Dr. Krishnagiri practiced at Mercer Medical Center, Trenton New Jersey and she is a member of the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Krishnagiri enjoys giving Comprehensive and Compassionate care to her patients. Her special areas of medical interest are diabetes, hypertension, women's health, hyperlipidemia, thyroid disease and preventive medicine.
Dr. Krishnagiri lives in the Greenbrier section of Chesapeake with her husband Rama and two sons. She loves reading, listening to music and spending time with her family.
Dr, Zahan Zev’s
“Dr. Zahan Zev received his pre-med degree from Shaheen college in Dhaka, Bangladesh (1980). He earned medical degree (1987) and completed an Internship (1988) at Chittaéong Medical colleée in Chiftaéong, Bangladesh. He then completed a four-year clinical clerkship (1993) at a multispecialty prima care center in Jamacia, New York, followed by a three-year Residency (1996) at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. He is Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (1996) and a member of the American college of Physicians.
Prior to joining Churchland lnternal Medicine, Dr. Zahan Zev practiced Internal Medicine in Kissimmee, Florida and in Hanford, California He has experience caring for patients of all ages -- from teens to young adults to mature adults to seniors -- in office, hospital, and urgent care settings. He has special medical interests in health and wellness, and in patients with diabetes, heart disease, asthma, kidney problems and dermatologic problems. Dr. Zahan Zev is committed to maintain the highest standards of compassionate, individualized patient care and to the continuity and integration of his patient's-healthcare needs. He is committed to take the time to get to know and understand the unique needs of each of his patients and to involve patients in decisions regarding their care. Dr. Zahan Zev and Dr. Shirin Zev married after medical school and are the proud parents of two young children.”
Dr. Shirin Zev
Dr. Zev received her pre-med degree from Holy Cross College in Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1982. She earned her medical degree in 1989 and completed her internship in 1990 at the Chittagong Medical Center in Chittagong, Bangladesh. Dr. Zev then completed a three-year internal medicine residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ.
In 1997, Dr. Zev was certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is currently a member of the American Medical Association. Before joining Churchland Internal Medicine, Dr. Zev practiced internal medicine in Hanford, CA. She also received recertification of the internal medicine boards in October 2018.
Dr. Zev has experience in caring for patients of all ages in physician offices, hospitals, and urgent care settings. She has special medical interest in women’s health, patients with diabetes, heart disease, asthma, and kidney issues. She takes pride in providing 100% patient satisfaction and believes that compassion and concern are as important to good health and wellness as advanced technology.
She is committed to caring for her patients like how she cares for her own family. Dr. Shirin Zev is married to Dr. Zahan Zev, who also practices at Churchland Internal Medicine, and they are proud parents of two children. She enjoys reading, watching her son play sports, going on shopping sprees with her daughter, and spending quality time with her family.
